Safeguarding and participant dignity

Loko Dhoch programmes are administered by HelpHeal Foundation. Every participant has the right to dignity, choice, confidentiality and clear information about the work they are entering.

Our commitments

• Participation and personal disclosure are voluntary.
• Group facilitators will not pressure participants to reveal private histories.
• Practitioners will distinguish participant testimony, observation and interpretation.
• A practitioner will not promise guaranteed healing, wealth or personal outcomes.
• Where a need falls outside the programme's competence, an appropriate referral will be discussed.
• Concerns about practitioner conduct will be handled through a clear HelpHeal reporting pathway.

Before launch

HelpHeal must add the approved safeguarding focal person, confidential reporting route, response procedure and links to its governing policies.
