Programmes for the patterns beneath the problem

Begin with what you are carrying. Find the pathway that can meet it.

Some difficulties remain after advice, training, planning or determined effort because the visible problem is only one part of the story. An older protection may be shaping a personal choice. Success may be arriving faster than the capacity to hold it. A team may be carrying strain that no wellbeing talk can solve alone. An institution may have the right policies while pressure keeps overriding them.

Loko Dhoch offers guided pathways for individuals, educators, leaders, teams and institutions who want to bring recurring conditions into view, loosen their authority, transform what they carry and embody more life-giving ways of being and working.

Choose by audience

Three ways in, for the people you are.

01

For individuals

Begin with Making Room for More when the central question is what keeps repeating within your life. Begin with Making Success Stay when the central question is what happens when money, support, opportunity, visibility or responsibility arrives. Harmful Narratives Dissolution may be appropriate when a story or label is shaping identity, belonging or choice.

How Loko Dhoch works

We do not force every concern into one method.

We listen for what is present, choose a proportionate doorway and accompany movement from recognition into embodied change.

  1. Reveal

Name what is happening and where it is held without reducing the person, team or institution to the condition.

  2. Dissolve

Withdraw the old condition’s unquestioned authority while recognizing the protection, history or wisdom it once carried.

  3. Transmute

Redirect the energy, attention and capacity held within the old arrangement toward a more life-giving purpose.

  4. Reinstate

Recover and rehearse an identity, response or institutional condition aligned with present truth and responsibility.

  5. Embody

Anchor the movement in language, decisions, boundaries, relationships, routines, systems, review and follow-through.

Loko Dhoch is a Luo-rooted practice of conscious dissolution and transmutation. It helps people and institutions bring an unwanted condition into view, dissolve its authority, retain its wisdom and redirect its energy toward life without transferring the burden elsewhere. Turning the soil remains one supporting image for revelation and preparation, but it is not the whole meaning of the practice.
